Elbow Protector

The KRUUSE Rehab Elbow Protector can be used before and after surgery and in connection with chronic arthritic conditions such as osteoarthritis, osteochondritis dissecans, ligament injuries, arthritis and other problems.

When a dog appears to be troubled by its elbow joints, the most common symptom is lameness or stiffness.

When a dog shows these symptoms, the KRUUSE Rehab Elbow Protector is the ideal solution. In combination with training sessions, it exerts counter-pressure to reduce subsequent swelling.

For many dogs, the KRUUSE Rehab Elbow Protector can be crucial in how well they can adapt to joint problems as it counteracts pain and swelling, giving muscles a chance to rest correctly.

The KRUUSE Rehab Elbow Protector is fastened above and under the joint with the aid of two Velcro bands. The bands run through loops in the protector so that it does not slide down the leg.

Knee Protector

The KRUUSE Rehab Knee Protector can be used before and after surgery and in connection with chronic arthritic conditions such as osteoarthritis, osteochondritis dissecans, ligament injuries, arthritis and other problems.

It also helps dogs with stifle lameness and joint pain and creates an improved quality of life through surface support.

The KRUUSE Rehab Knee Protector has both an elastic and stabilising effect. For example when cruciate ligaments are injured, the dog can be fitted with a protector at the time of diagnosis. Thus the dog will not lose as much muscle, if any, before the operation, which would have been the case without a knee protector.
The KRUUSE Rehab Knee Protector must be pulled up along the thigh to sit well and remain in place. You can protect the penis of a male dog by running the strap through an old sock.

Hock Protector

The KRUUSE Rehab Hock Protector can be used before and after surgery and in connection with chronic arthritic conditions such as osteoarthritis, osteochondritis dissecans, ligament injuries, arthritis and other problems.

The KRUUSE Rehab Hock Protector helps dogs with hock instability and joint pain, improving their quality of life through surface support.

The KRUUSE Rehab Hock Protector is made of neoprene that repels water so the inside will remain dry, even under extremely poor weather conditions. Using a wet joint protector cools down the joint and impairs the healing process.

The KRUUSE Rehab Hock Protector is fitted by inserting the hock through the opening of the protector and then stretched around the leg proximally and distally to the joint.

Carpal Protector

KRUUSE Rehab Carpal Protector

The KRUUSE Rehab Carpal Protector can be used before and after surgery or in connection with chronic arthritic conditions such as osteoarthritis, osteochondritis dissecans, ligament injuries, arthritis and other problems.

When dogs suffer from injuries in the distal joints such as the carpal joints, it is often secondary to trauma. In  addition to these complex joints being injured, ligaments are often affected in some way.

The healing period is long and the dog needs support around the joint in order to reduce further injury during the healing period.

The KRUUSE Rehab Carpal Pprotector is stretched around the entire leg and fastened with a Velcro band in accordance with the stability one wants to achieve with the protection.
