Full Time/Part Time/Casual Veterinarian Role

The Rivers Equine Vets is searching for an Equine Veterinarian to join our ambulatory practice. Part time or casual is be preferred however, expressions of interest for full time will be considered.
We are situated in the beautiful Tweed Valley on the NSW – QLD border with Mt Warning on our doorstep and Byron Bay and Snapper Rocks only 35 mins drive away.
We are a progressive practice, well equipped with the latest diagnostic and dental equipment that services a great mix of equine disciplines including racing, sport, and pleasure horses.
We have an excellent working relationship with several referral centres and a reception staff to manage calls, bookings and invoicing.
We are passionate team that strives to provide an excellent service, maintain a high standard of care and to form long term relationships with our clientele. The Northern Rivers horse population is growing rapidly and there is ample opportunity to develop your own client base and help to grow the practice.
Our practice strives to create an excellent work-life balance which will allow you to take full advantage of what the far north coast has to offer. Hinterland activities such as camping, trekking, mountain biking, horse riding will be right on your doorstep and pristine beaches only a stone’s throw away.
We offer a generous package that can be tailored to suit the right candidate which includes a 4WD, phone, lap top, after hours incentives, and CPD. After hours duties will be shared on a pro rata basis.
All expressions of interest are welcome however, ideally, we are seeking an equine veterinarian with at least 3 years equine experience. All applicants are required to be eligible to be registered by the Veterinary Practitioners Board of NSW.
