 The Role  

As the Veterinary Regional Program Manager, you are at the forefront of our mission, responsible for delivering and supporting AMRRIC’s One Health animal management program.  

 Based in Darwin and reporting to the Head of Operations, you will support clinical governance and collaborate with teams to deliver veterinary and related animal management services and education to remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Additionally, you assist the leadership team with managing our busy program schedule, coordinating and fulfilling field-based veterinary programs in collaboration with teams of staff, volunteers, and contractors.  About Us 

AMRRIC (Animal Management in Rural and Remote Indigenous Communities Ltd) is an established, national not-for-profit organisation based on Larrakia Land in Darwin. Our small team of dedicated staff deliver a diverse range of programs covering community and animal health and welfare, education and training, academic research, strategic planning and advocacy. We work with remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to improve the health of their pets, helping to create healthier and safer communities.

About You  

  • Demonstrates flexibility and adeptness in various situations, fostering a dynamic and adaptable programs team. 
  • Excels as a clear and confident communicator, possessing strong organisational skills to effectively lead. 
  • Holds relevant Australian qualifications, registrations, and extensive experience to deliver and oversee professional veterinary service delivery programs. 
  • Utilises comprehensive remote veterinary clinical guidelines to ensure best-practice delivery to remote communities. 
  • Exhibits exceptional interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration and adaptability to overcome challenges seamlessly.
